Refund/Shipping Policy

SHIPPING

A standard shipping fee of R100 applies for delivery across South Africa.

 

All paid for orders are shipped within 3-5 working days. Should there be a delay, we will inform you. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email with tracking details. 

You will get an email that will give you an update once we have fulfilled your order. Our 3rd party couriers will give you updates and you will be able to track your shipment based on your waybill.

Once your order is picked up by our trusted courier, your order should be delivered to you within 2 – 4 days, depending on where you are located.

Major cities such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban should take 2 days to be delivered once shipped, outlying areas might take a day or 2 longer.

If we do run into any unexpected delays, we will contact you.

 

RETURNS:

If an item is to be returned you need to have all the original packing, labels, all items must be clean, unworn, unwashed & unused. 

 

Upon the successful return of an item, you will receive a Sunday 8601 voucher valued at the amount of your original purchase, credited to your Sunday 8601 account (Please note: No returns/credit on the shipping costs). Any transaction processed on a debit card can only be refunded through a gift card.

 

We offer one free exchange per local order, shipped within the parameters of South Africa. After that, local shipping is calculated at R80.00 one way.

All discounted, sale or giveaway items cannot be returned or exchanged – orders are final.

 

Please note, we cannot guarantee the exchange for stock items – this will vary depending on items in stock.




EXCHANGES & RETURNS PROCESS

Step 1 – Please email orders@ilovesunday.co.za stating the reason for return along with order number. Please include a photo of the item in question within the email body.

 

Please note that we can only offer an exchange if we have the product that you would like to receive is in stock. 

 

Step 2 – Safely packed

The merchandise must be sent within 14 days of receiving the order. Please be sure the merchandise is in its original state. Please be sure to pack the garments securely with labels and stickers attached. The merchandise must be clean, unwashed, unworn, hang tags attached and undamaged. Sunday 8601 reserves the right to refuse the package and/or return the item(s) to the sender should the merchandise not abide by this policy.

 

STEP 3 – COURIERS TO PICK UP AT ADDRESS 

You will receive a waybill via email. Please print the waybill and have it ready with the package for collection. We will arrange for the courier to provide a plastic shipping bag.

Please note that we cannot indicate a specific time that the pickup will take place – we simply book a pick up for a specific date.

STEP 4 – Receiving your new parcel or store credit

Once we have received your parcel, we will inspect your order to ensure that it is clean, unwashed, unworn and unused condition with tags still attached.

Please allow 1-4 business days for your exchange to be processed once we have received your item. You will receive an email once we have received and shipped your exchange. Your exchange will be sent to the same address that your order was originally sent to. In the case of a refund, we will send you an online voucher with the value of your returned item to the email address through which you contacted us. 

 

 

PRODUCT REPLACEMENT 

  1. Should Sunday 8601 supply the incorrect product or if the product received is damaged, Sunday 8601 shall exchange the product for a new one, provided that the damaged or incorrect unit is returned in its original packaging with all the tags and extras still in placed as originally received. If the customer however wears or uses the product, stickers or tags of the incorrect, damaged or faulty item, then the free exchange by Sunday 860 is void. 

 

  1. Should you use your product and spot a factory fault within 14 days of receiving it, Sunday 8601 will replace the item for you. Please email orders@ilovesunday.co.za for more info.

 

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section: 

Damages resulting from normal wear and tear

Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product

Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product

Damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product and where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on ilovesunday.co.za and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

Please note, the team at Sunday 8601 will first examine the item by means of either image or physical examination. Sunday 8601 reserves the right to refuse an exchange if deemed that the fault is not a factory fault.
